Hello, Campers! My name is Brittany and I am IN LOVE with helping kids not only ride horses but also become closer to God! I have been riding horses since I was 4 years old and barrel racing since I was 6. I really focus on the kids understanding slow is smooth and smooth is fast. I know it’s hard to believe but Barrel racing isn’t just about how fast you can cross the timeline. It’s crazy to think that 15 years ago I was attending Rodeo Bible Camp for the FIRST TIME! I loved it so much that I attended camp for 6 years! I entered as many different classes as I could. Team Penning, Team Roping, Goat Tying, and one of my all-time favorites barrel racing. My Favorite Bible verse is Psalm 46:5 “God is within her, she will not fail; God will help her at the break of day”. Not only in rodeo but all aspects of life we face challenges. This verse reminds me that no matter how defeated I feel, God is with me and I will accomplish anything I set my mind too. I firmly believe God’s gift to us is our talents, and what we do with those talents is how we give back to God. So after taking a year off from camp, I came back as a Teen Leader. Now many years later I am blessed to be able to say I am a Barrel Racing Instructor. In my free time I train, and fix problem barrel horses, spend time with my family, and of course rodeo! I am so EXCITED to see new and returning faces to Rodeo Bible Camp 2021!
