Meet your Instructors:

Hello Campers! My name is Shelly Naser. I have volunteered as an instructor in Advanced and Beginner Horsemanship since 2015. It’s been a joy and privilege to help these kids grow in their horsemanship skills and more importantly in confidence and character. I witness amazing things every year! Rodeo Bible Camp is an awesome way to make a difference in these kids' lives. I absolutely LOVE working with the kids at Rodeo Bible Camp.
My whole life I have been passionate about horses and horsemanship. I grew up as a 4h kid that couldn't get enough and have owned and shown horses ever since. It's been a lifelong pursuit and a continual learning curve! Horses are the best therapy and have taught me relationship and communication tools that help me in every area of my life. I am so blessed and want to share my gifts.
When not at Rodeo Bible camp, I work full-time as a Speech and Language Therapist in the Harrisburg School District at Sioux Falls Christian School. I also have an awesome family that includes my husband (Shannon) of 21 years and 14 year old daughter (Addison) who also enjoys participating in english and western classes pleasure classes, showmanship, and gaming events.
Hi everyone! My name is Courtney Bruget and I am so excited to be your instructor for Rodeo Bible Camp 2021. I was born and raised in Brandon, South Dakota. My love for horses started when I was in fourth grade when I purchased my first horse for $1. I started showing in 4H shortly after and have went on to compete at the region, national, and international level. I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Equine Science and Management. While I attended UK, I also competed on the western equestrian team as well as the saddleseat team. In my several years of showing, I have competed in everything from reining to hunt seat and I can honestly say, I love it all! Now that I have graduated and moved back home, my fiancé and I own and operate Rugged Cross Stables in Sioux Falls. I also work for an animal pharmaceutical business intelligence company, although my true passion is in training horses and teaching kids. I love nothing more than sharing with others the incredible animal that God created for us. My favorite part of camp, is watching my campers grow throughout the week, both spiritually as well as in their relationship with their horse. I cannot wait to meet each and every one of you!
