Working Cowhorse - July 31st
The Working Cowhorse class is designed to sharpen existing working cattle knowledge. Campers will work together to sort/pen a specific steer, as well as learn how to work cattle in order to demonstrate Reined Cowhorse skills. The steers will be numbered and a number will be selected for the team to pen/sort or for the individual to work. This class is offered to advanced riders ONLY. Horses must have experience working with cattle. Our instructors reserve the right to move campers to a different class if horse/rider combinations are not ready for Working Cowhorse.

Hello everyone!
My name is Carrie Dieters and I am honored to be a part of Rodeo Bible Camp. My journey with God began when I was just a little girl and has continued to grow throughout my life but also still has so much growing to do! My journey with horses also began around the same time which made it obvious to me that God’s gift to me was horses. I have been riding since I was big enough to sit up on my own and haven’t stopped since! Team Penning and Rodeo are my passion where I have truly devoted my life to teaching anyone and everyone about God’s unconditional love for them and It’s just a blessing to get the opportunity to use horses as my main tool! My first experience with Rodeo Bible Camp was as a camper; I was in the barrels and poles class as well as the goat tying and breakaway group. Once I aged out I came back as soon as they would let me as a teen helper in the beginner horsemanship class then was eventually moved over to team penning. I am blessed to have now been the Team Penning instructor for 3 years. I truly love everything about Rodeo Bible Camp from the morning chores to the worship hour and everything in between!
I can’t wait to see returning campers every year as well as welcome new ones with God’s love!!
